What this model does and does not do›
Deterministic arithmetic on the town's own reported levy and statutory maximum — no forecasting and no behavioural assumptions. It does not model the effect on any individual property owner, which depends on assessed valuations we have not ingested, and it does not account for truth-in-taxation notice requirements or the political cost of a levy increase.
It is a scale check, not a recommendation.
